MURPHY WATER GARDENS

What started as a personal water garden in 1994 turned into a tourist attraction and soon after transitioned into Murphy Water Gardens where visitors can purchase plants, fish and supplies to create their own backyard botanical. Ron and Cindy Murphy had never planned for their hobby to turn into a business, but now Murphy Water Gardens is one of the premier spots in the Ozarks to purchase hard to find items such as Lotus and other tropical water plants.

In the beginning Ron and Cindy had help from their triplets Chelsie, Zack and Chance, but soon the garden grew too big and so did the children. With the addition of a few employees the garden flourished and the Murphy's created a large greenhouse to grow tropical plants as well a place to house Goldfish and Koi. With the greenhouse they have been able to provide more and better quality products to customers beyond the typical water garden season.
